November 11-14, 2010
National Association for Gifted Children Convention
Atlanta, Georgia

Great minds will lead the way when NAGC hosts the largest annual convention devoted to gifted learners here in Atlanta, November 11-14, 2010. Classroom teachers, gifted/talented coordinators, school administrators, researchers, parents, college and university faculty, and more, will converge for the 57th Annual NAGC Convention. Throughout the pre-convention events, concurrent sessions, poster sessions, exhibit hall, general sessions and networking events (both formal and informal!), you will witness the power of diverse viewpoints -- from the field and from the classroom -- coming together to make learning and life a challenging and rewarding experience for our nation's gifted learners.
The support network that serves our nation's high-ability students has been shaped by great minds, both directly and indirectly. Torrance. Frasier. Hollingworth. Feldhusen. Stanley. We follow in their footsteps as we continue the journey to ensure that every child - including the gifted and talented -learns something new every day.
Sometimes a person's achievements are so extraordinary, they shape generations to come. Join us as we celebrate these great minds, past, present, and future.
At no other time in our history has it been more important to recognize and develop talent -- our current and next generation's -- and to honor the pioneers of change that have brought us this far.
